In its corporate entertainment practice, the firm has participated in several high-profile transactions.  These include initiating and overseeing successful public offerings; structuring and negotiating financing/distribution, debt and equity arrangements for independent motion picture entities and satellite and pay cable networks; negotiating partnerships and joint ventures between the major studios and our talent clients;  forming and expanding cable networks;  acting as outside entertainment counsel in acquisitions of major studios and motion picture libraries, including advising private equity buyers; acquiring  broadcast rights from major studios in forming and building cable networks, satellite services and social media platforms; advising sports leagues in connection with their broadcast deals; negotiating agreements with the major music distributors to license product in the digital space; and structuring and negotiating, financing/distribution arrangements for independent and major labels, joint ventures with major labels, advising private equity buyers, and providing strategic advice to music industry financiers in connection with the purchase or sale of music industry assets.
